How to Measure Your Toe for an Adjustable Toe Ring
These instructions are for ADJUSTABLE Toe Ring Sizes, not solid/ fixed ring sizes. There are other considerations when measuring for a solid or not adjustable ring, which is not covered here.
It is always best to have a jeweler or a certified ring sizer set to determine your proper toe size. This guide can give you an approximate size so you can see where your sizing falls within the adjustable range. I also sell a ring sizer in my shop that does all the work for you. This guide works for Adjustable Midi Finger Rings too.
1. Determine which toe and which section of your toe you would like to wear your ring. For example, I personally like to wear my rings on my second toe. Some rings I like to wear between the tip of my toe and the joint. Other rings, I like to wear between the joint and the pad of my foot. I wear flip flops 90% of the time 9 months out of the year. I feel the ring on my toe a lot less when I place it between the joint and the pad of my foot.
2. Using a piece of floss or a thin string, wrap it around the area and mark it with a pen where it overlaps itself. Don't pull too tight as it will pinch and don't loosen too much or the ring will move around too much.
3. Using a ruler, measure the distance between the two marks on the floss/ string. US jewelry sizes are determined in MM (Millimeters). One CM (centimeter) equals ten MM.
4. Using the chart, look for your MM and the corresponding US Ring size.
5. Review the Toe Ring listing and determine if your ring size will fall within the Ring Size range listed. It is always best to size down on the chart if you are unsure. This gives you some extra room to adjust the ring.
