I grew up off the coast of South Carolina. Summers meant salt air, bare feet, and stopping at little vendor stands to choose a toe ring from velvet-lined trays. Those toe rings felt carefree and personal, even if they were mass-produced and only lasted a few short months. They became part of how I expressed myself each Summer.

Years later, I took at job in Dallas after earning my degree in graphics. I was looking for a hobby to help me relieve stress from corporate life. Curious to create with my hands, I took a basic metalsmithing class and I was hooked.

When I went looking for toe rings, I realized something was missing. Local vendors didn't sell them, which made sense as Dallas is not on the coast. Online options were disappointing: cheap, generic, and lacking soul.

So I started making my own. What began as curiosity became a calling. I first sold beaded anklets on Etsy, learning as I went, then committed fully to mastering metalsmithing.

Tribal Toes was born from that journey. A return to the joy I experienced each Summer. Every toe ring is made by hand, with intention and care. My goal is simple: to remind people how fun toe rings can be, and to create pieces that make customers smile, come back, and feel a little more like Summer, every day.

My metalsmithing journey has prompted me to create more than just Toe Rings. I started Tribal Waves Silver to encompass the nostalgia and whimsy of experiencing the coast for all my customers. You might remember Summer beach vacations, cruises, or visits to the aquarium. I want to bring all those memories to you in the form of keepsakes and adornments. 

Most of these items are my own creation and some I have sourced from other makers to bring them into one place: Tribal Waves Silver. I test every item to make sure it is the best quality and would be honored if you decide to give my little toe treasures a try.
