Moonstone comes to life with light and movement. Perfect for sunny days to add attention to those beautiful ankles. Moonstone has an optical phenomenon that creates a glow like moon light. Ancient cultures have celebrated this natural gemstone for its moon-like properties. They believed it brought the wearer good fortune, love, and affection.
Why are my handmade rosary chains different from machine-made chains?
- I use the thickest gauge of wire possible - usually 24 ga or thicker. Machine made chains are generally 30 ga, which causes them to be brittle and easily broken.
- I individually wrap each loop and tension-test to make sure of durability. Machine made chains are mechanically made with no attention-to-detail so any flaw will break.
- I use 14k gold-fill wire, making it more tarnish-resistant and can withstand years of handling without wearing through. Machine-made chains use gold-plated (sometimes falsely calling it gold-fill), which only has a thin surface layer of gold that can chip or fade quickly with use.
- Since my chains are actually handmade, I can repair your chain for free. No time limit. You just cover shipping.
If you decide to buy from another shop, ask them what materials they use first. Ask them if they have the ability to customize or repair.
CARE: It is not advisable to get anklets wet. If you accidentally get it wet, dry it immediately. Do not use jewelry cleaner on your Anklet, just a soft toothbrush and mild soap. Common chemicals in household items can be damaging to your anklet like lotions, shampoo, and soap. Some corrosive chemicals, like chlorine, can slowly damage the metal in jewelry pieces, too. Eventually, weak points may cause chains to break unexpectedly. Remove your jewelry pieces before showering, using toiletry products, swimming, or cleaning around your house to prevent damage. Don't wear it to bed as you may snag it on fabric.
